Nepalese singer Menuka Poudel, who is giving a great performance in the ongoing 14th season of Indian Idol, has got the chance to make her debut singing in an Indian film.
The singer Poudel herself has given the information that she has sung background vocals in the much-awaited South Indian film ‘Salaar’, which will be screened after ten days.
In the latest series of Indian Idol, which aired on Sunday night on Sony Television, singer Poudel informed viewers about the achievement and mentioned that it was the ‘turning point’ of her musical career.
On Sunday’s Indian Idol, the scene where Menuka went to record the song for the film and was doing it was shown with special importance.
Singer Poudel says that she got an opportunity to sing for the film ‘Salaar’ in the music of music composer Ravi Basrur. I am singing the first song for my first playback. “I will sing very well,” she said.
When singer Paudel was informed about this achievement on the stage of Indian Idol, the judges of the program stood up and expressed their respect for her.
Judge and singer Shreya Ghoshal, while congratulating Menuka, said that the new film ‘Salar’ is a big project of a company like ‘KGF’, which produces excellent films, and it was a pleasure to sing in it. Singer Ghoshal also said that Salar’s music composer, Basrur, was amazing.
