Pritam from Sikkim won “Mero Voice Universe” and received Rs 1 crore

Kathmandu: Pritam Rai from Sikkim has become the winner in the singing competition ‘My Voice Universe’, which has the highest prize money in Nepal so far. Rai became the winner in the final competition held at Sunrise Conference Hall in Godawari on Saturday evening.

Rai won a competition and a title with a cash prize of Rs. 1 crore. Sishir Thatal became the first runner-up in the competition. He won Rs. 30 lakh in cash. Sarad Humagain became the second runner-up in the competition. He received Rs. 20 lakh in cash. Paresh Rai is the third runner-up. He got Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 50 thousand. The fourth runner-up is Sairaj Khati. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda distributed prizes to the winners.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire and other ministers and leaders of political parties reached the venue. This singing and dancing competition has been organized with the aim of maintaining mutual harmony among the Nepalese people scattered around the world and keeping the Nepali language and culture alive among them.
