At the ‘Palpa Mahotsav’ held at Palpa headquarters, Tansen, the audience was engrossed in the performance of singer Shiv Pariyar. Shiva, who was present as the main attraction of the holiday on Saturday, enthralled the audience with his popular songs. He performed for one and a half hours through his hit songs.
The audience was enthralled by Shiva’s performance of nearly a dozen songs ranging from ‘Phulai Phul dinchhau ki’, ‘Phewataal ma Saili’, ‘Pilayo Saathi Le’, ‘Kya Dami Bho’ to ‘Dhokebaaz Hau Timi’. Even though the wind blew the venue Tundikhel, the audience continued to enjoy the musical atmosphere.
The audience cheered and danced to Shiva’s performance. Along with Shiva, Deepu Magar, Rupesh Karki, Shakuntala Gayre and others also performed on Saturday. As it was a public holiday, there was a crowd of spectators from the stage to the stalls and the kindergarten. It is reported that more than 10,000 spectators attended the festival organized by Palpa Industry and Commerce Association on Saturday.
