Kathmandu- The title of ‘Rising Star 2023’ was won by Kripa Gautam of Class 5 of EPS School Min Bhawan and Sonu Mahtara of Class 7 of National Academy Shankhamul. Gautam Junior and Mahtara became the winners in the Senior category. Organized by Creative World Nepal, both the winners of the competition held at Rastriya Nachghar Jamal received Rs.50 thousand in cash, crowns and various gifts.
In the competition, the first runner-up was Akriti Khapung on the junior side and Sreeja Shah on the senior side, the second runner-up was Aliana Ali on the junior side and Erica Adhikari on the senior side. Students from classes 2 to 9 participated in the competition held in collaboration with Pabson Kathmandu.
The judges of the program are Rita Rai Dahal, Vice President of Pabson Kathmandu, Manjayraj Pandey, Chief Manager of Prabhu Bank, Bam Baniya, Vice President of National Child Rights Council, Ashok Mukarung, Pasang Dolma Sherpa, winner of Miss Mongol 2022, Tshering Sherpa, winner of Dancing Star, Asmita Adhikari, winner of Rising Star Season 4 and season 5 winner Prashun Badal was the judge of the singing competition.
