Senior singer Chandrakala Shah awarded with ‘Dirgh Sadhana Samman’

Kathmandu- Senior singer and lyricist Chandrakala Shah has been honored with ‘Dirgha Sadhana Samman 2080’. This honor was given in recognition of her singing contribution for 4 decades in the third edition of the ‘Himalaya International Award’ held in the capital on Saturday.

Foreign Minister NP Saud, actresses Bhuwan Chand, Chait Devi, Bashundhara Bhushal and others gave her the honor along with cash in the program.

Journalist Hem Subedi, Sanukaji Shrestha, Rajendra Luintel, Surya Chand, Suman Sapkota, Shivram Bhandari and photojournalist Mohammad Jalim were also honored in the program organized by Women’s Era and Media Group Pvt Ltd Nepal.
