Kathmandu- The production of a documentary film on Hark Sampang, the mayor of Dharan sub-metropolitan city, has started. On Monday, Mayor Sampang congratulated the documentary to be produced under the name of ‘Hark Sampang a Revolution’.

Directed by Arun Kumar Pradhan, who is also the general secretary of Film Directors Society, this film will portray the Kokaha water supply plan campaign being conducted by Mayor Sampang.

Mayor Sampang announced the start of filming by clapping at the ceremony held at the local Sindoorpucha Danda. Artists and local people engaged in public service participated in the auspicious ceremony. Director Pradhan said that some scenes were shot after the mayor raised the clap.

Millions of funds are being collected for this and hundreds of people are donating their labor. This is a revolution. As long as this campaign goes on, the documentary shooting will also continue,” said director Pradhan to reporter.
