Nepali film actors Ayushman Deshraj Joshi and Ashirman Deshraj Joshi (brother) have married their mother Raveena Deshraj Shrestha (former banker). The wedding ceremony held at a resort in Kathmandu on Thursday, they took their mother dressed as a bride to the mandap. Raveena married to boyfriend Stuart Alexander Chapman.
Actress Priyanka Karki, daughter-in-law of the Joshi family, actress Parmita RL Rana and Nirisha Basnet were also present at Raveena’s wedding ceremony. Parmita and Nirisha came to Nepal from Mumbai for Raveena’s wedding. A few days ago, a Mehndi ceremony was held at Raveena’s private residence. Ayushmann and Ashirmann are both happy at their mother’s wedding.
Raveena, who announced her boyfriend on social media last year after resigning as permanent executive officer of Mega Bank, got engaged to her boyfriend Chapman in a five-star hotel in Kathmandu last Falgun. Raveena, who has become a grandmother, is receiving both positive and negative comments about the marriage decision taken at this point in her life.
Raveena is also a Nepali film actress. She acted in a special role in the film ‘Soul Sister’ directed by Prashant Rasaili. After that she did not act in the film. Her husband Chapman is a British citizen. He has been associated with the World Wildlife Fund for a long time. He came to Nepal last week with his daughter for marriage.
