A documentary about Singaporean tourists that highlights Nepal’s natural beauty and draws in foreign visitors

A marvelous documentary about the tourists who journeyed to Nepal from Singapore was recently released on the YouTube channel Nepali Update. A group from Singapore visited Nepal in April 2023 as part of the Enthronement and Blessing Program of Master Lim Say Fon Khenpo (Abbot).

Renowned director, editor, cinematographer, and documentarian Bhim Bahadur Tamang produced this documentary. Mission Rai, Tamang’s colleague, provided assistance with the documentary’s production.

Bhim Bahadur Tamang has been traveling to and documenting a variety of picturesque and well-known locations in Nepal for his numerous documentaries. He produced a number of visually appealing and educational documentaries, which are widely available on YouTube.

Apart from the documentary, responses were also received from Singaporean tourists who understood Nepal’s diverse castes, clothes, customs, culture, and religion, in addition to its geographical diversity. These visitors claimed that making and releasing these documentaries will contribute to the growth of the tourism industry by drawing attention to the numerous undiscovered tourist destinations in Nepal and spreading information about them across the world.

Traveling to other parts of Nepal, understanding the local landscape and way of life, and obtaining services and facilities have all become quite easy because of the work of other filmmakers and documentarians, like Bhim Bahadur Tamang.
