After filming “Bhuthan” in America for a week, actor Dayahang Rai arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday. He took time off to promote his two films, “Hattichhap” and “Dayarani,” which will be released simultaneously on Magh 26. His excitement for both films was evident.
“Hattichhap” has turned into the greatest, according to Dayahang. “The main purpose of this film is commercialism. On the other hand, the film attempts to address a number of realistic social themes. I think this film is fantastic. I am excited because of this,” he said. He said he enjoyed the film’s story, characters, and cast and expressed his belief that the audience would get a different taste.
Dayahang contends that the film brought up the subject of money. This narrative is set in the present. That is precisely the story of money. “The film’s meaning is nearly the same,” he says.
Actress Upasana Singh Thakuri, who is Dayahang’s partner in the film, has said that its storyline is powerful. She says, “This film connects the Nepali audience emotionally. I think it should not be seen only as a commercial film. The film has been made about a subject that all Nepalis have experienced. Emotionally, the film is also very powerful.
Directed by Simos Sunuwar and presented by Kiran Nepali, the film also stars Dayahang and Upasana, Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang, binod Neupane, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Sushma Niraula, Rare Rai and others. Due to the strong ‘line-up’ of the actors, the film is expected to do well at the domestic box office.
