This year’s blockbuster film ‘Jari’ famed director Upendra Subba’s second film ‘Mansara’ have been announced to release on Baisakh 21 next year. Production company Kabaddi Films released a poster on Friday and announced the screening date. In the film, the ‘Jari’ couple Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar are in the lead roles. Miruna is depicted in the poster.
Renowned director Upendra Subba’s follow-up to his hugely successful film ‘Jari,’ ‘Mansara,’ is slated to open on Baisakh 21 of the following year. Production company Kabaddi Films released a poster on Friday along with the screening date. The film stars Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar as the lead characters. Miruna is featured prominently in the poster.
Along with Dayahang and Miruna, the film also stars Praveen Khatiwada, Menuka Pradhan, and Hemant Budhathoki. Shailendra Dhoj Karki is the producer, and Subba is the writer and director, who also serves as the film’s cinematographer. The film’s executive producer is Sijan Dahal, and its co-producers are Bishnu Kumar Limbu, Monarath Pokharel, Parsu Adhikari, Peter Gurung, and Jiban Limbu Thaklung.
Although director Subba has not even formally announced ‘Mansara,’ it is rumored that he has secretly completed some of the film’s shooting. The poster suggests that Subba, who has demonstrated good potential in direction from ‘Jari,’ has prepared ‘Mansara’ in a rural environment and lifestyle.
