Announcement of ‘Mayaka Rangharu: Colors of Love’

Actor Paul Shah has been signed on to play the lead in Kewal Tamang’s production and debut directorial film, ‘Mayaka Rangharu: Colors of Love.’ Production of this Indo-Nepali film will begin in Sikkim, India, following Paul Shah’s completion of ‘Pujar Sarki’.

Ninety percent of the film that Promise Entertainment is producing will be filmed in Sikkim, India, with the other portion being shot in Darjeeling, Ilam, and Kathmandu.

Bhadra Bhujel and Ram Mehra will be the main assistant directors in the film, with the DOP by Saurabh Lama, a story by Shekhar Gyawali, music by Tara Prakash Limbu, Urgen Dong, and Deepak Sharma, and choreography by Sushma Sonam and Ramji Lamichhane. The head of production and line producer of the film will be Tikaram Adhikari from Sikkim, Subhas Chhetri from Darjeeling, and Padam Tamang from Nepal.

This film will be made with the intention of creating a film for the tourism festival, and the production team is getting ready to hire 60% of Indian filmmakers and 40% of Nepali filmmakers.

Director Tamang hopes that the film will contribute to the promotion of tourism in both Nepal and India as well as the strengthening of cultural ties between the two countries. The production team has informed that actors other than Paul Shah are in the process of being selected for the film, which will be shot in both Hindi and Nepali.
