The lineup of actors in the new film ‘Kangaroo’ under the direction of Samrat Basnet is getting stronger. In this film, which Rajiv Gurung, aka Deepak Manange, is presenting, actor Arpan Thapa has taken over the lead role following Kedar Ghimire’s “Magne Budha.”
An agreement was formally signed on Tuesday between actor Thapa and the production side of this film. This film is going to be made in the suspense, thriller, and comedy genres. Earlier, he had directed Action Genres Lakhe.
This film is going to be produced in collaboration with Asap Entertainment, Fullmoon Motion Pictures, and Uttargaya Music and Film. The film has Prem Thapa, Dhan Bahadur Gurung, and Lakshmi Rai as producers. Ronish Bahadur Basnet is the co-producer of the film. Tika Bhandari and Santosh Adhikari (Australia) are the executive producers of the film, and Asap Entertainment (Australia) is the line producer of the film. The film will have Seema Gurung’s story and Mahesh Dawadi’s screenplay. Lakshmi Jewelers UK has also collaborated in the production of the film. Dilip Pant is the production designer for the film.
Director Basnet has said that he wants to tell a different story in ‘Kangaroo’, and the audience will get to see it with a different taste.
