Feature documentary ‘No Winter Holidays’ directed by Rajan Kathet and Sunir Pandey has received Special Mention Award in Azerbaijan. The documentary won the Special Mention Award at the Dokubaku International Documentary Film Festival.
The documentary presents the story of two women named of Kalima and Ratima. These two bitter enemies have been given the job of looking after their abandoned village. They must put their history behind them as they approach the end of their lives and work together to get through a long, bitter winter.
This documentary, prepared by Rajan and Sunir after a long time, had its world premiere at London’s Sheffield Docfest. The documentary was shot by Babin Dulal and edited by Kiran Shrestha. Earlier, this documentary was also selected in South Korea’s DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
