Kathmandu: The teaser of the Nepali web series ‘Brahmanda’ jointly produced by Kantipur Film Academy and Topi Studios, has been released. The teaser has been released in three languages namely Nepali, English and Hindi.
It is claimed that this series has been produced by meeting the international standards required for the OTT platform.
With the start of the production of the series by the Academy, it has also started to be discussed as the heavyweight series of Nepal so far.
Made in eight parts, each part of this series will be one hour long. Riyaz Natakkar is the director, and Sagar Raj Acharya is the executive producer. Academy CEO Prakash Puri is the creative producer of the series.
Purushottam Pradhan’s cinematography, the series stars Arpan Thapa, Sunil Thapa, Bholaraj Sapkota, Nisha Adhikari, along with Rajan Khatiwada, Sarita Giri, Maotse Gurung, Suraj Bista, Supragya Sharma, and Sanjaya Dhungana. Supragya and Sanjaya are making their debuts in the series.
This initiative was launched by Kantipur Film Academy at a time when the world market is trying to find a new audience for Nepali films, and if it is successful, there is a possibility that it will be an opportunity to create a new market and audience for Nepali films and filmmakers.
