Kathmandu: Director Rambabu Gurung revealed the official production of the film on Monday by releasing a poster via Facebook. Degree Maila: Ma 3rd Class is the title of the movie.
It gives me great pleasure to announce our upcoming feature film, Degree Maila: Ma 3rd Class, by Baasuri Films Productions. It will be released on Nepalese New Year’s Day in 2081,’ he wrote.
The film is going to be made based on the idea of the play “Degree Maila,” which was performed three times in Mandala Theater in 2071. Actor Dayahang Rai directed the play. He will be seen in the lead role in the film. The ‘lineup’ of the artists has not yet been revealed, though. The first schedule for the movie will be in Ashwin, while the second schedule will be in Mangsir.
The tagline of the film, which is going to be made in the comedy genre, is ‘Kina chauriyo marich, afnai raagale’.
Rambabu Gurung recently directed the film ‘Phoolbari’. The film did average business at the box office.
