Nepathya Performing concerts in Japan on August 8

Nepali folk rock band Nepathya will hold concerts in Tokyo, Fukuoka and Osaka in Japan. According to Nepathya, the tour will start from the capital Tokyo. A 14-member band team is leaving for concerts in the first week of August.

Nepathya will first perform at the Toyosu Pit in Tokyo on August 8, on August 12th, it has been decided to perform Nepali folk music at the Fukuoka Civil Hall and the final performance at the Namba Hatch in Osaka on August 17th .

In 1998, Nepathya performed for the first time in Japan. The last time he performed at the famous Tokyo Dome was in 2018. “Many memories are connected with Japan,” says Amrit Gurung, the leader and lead singer of the band.

Amrit said that the audience in Japan has always welcomed Nepathya with a warm heart, no matter what situation and form they are in.

Nepalaya has said that this is the first time that they are going to organize a series of concerts in more than one city in Japan since they managed it.

“It is more effective to take a team of technicians from Nepal to manage from a technical point of view,” said Kiran Krishna Shrestha from Nepal.

Ticket bookings for Nepathya’s concert in Japan are now open.

In Japan, Amrit will be assisted by Dhruv Lama on the drumset, Suraj Thapa on keyboards, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar and Shanti Rayamaji on Madal.

All Nepathya’s performances in 2023 are presented as a series of Humanity Promotion Campaign with the slogan ‘Music for Humanity’.
