A lamp will be lit to pray for the eternal peace of actor Saruk Tamrakar, who committed suicide at home on Asadh 21. On the 14th day of Saruk’s death, the lamp is going to be lit at the Buddhist Stupa in Buddh on Wednesday.
Actress Shristi Shrestha has informed about the lighting of the lamp in Saruk’s memory through social media. She said, “We will light butter lamps and candles.” Saruk’s journey to the realm of peace will be a symbol of light. She also requested everyone to collectively participate in Saruk’s peace journey and send best wishes.
It is said that artists will participate in the lighting of the lamp which will be held from 6 pm to 7 pm. Various actors are demanding on social media for a proper investigation into Saruk’s suicide. Now, the police have taken the footage of the CC camera in front of Saruk’s house for investigation to find out the reason for Saruk’s suicide.
Saruk, who started his career with the film ‘Rani’, was skilled in acting. Along with acting, he directed some short films and also worked as an assistant director in the film ‘Tyandro’. His latest release is ‘Into Mintu Londonma’. After almost 3 years, the film industry is shocked by his death, who was working on the film ‘Hashtag Maya’ (even till the day of his death).
