The movie ‘Nango Gaou’, which is going to be screened on the 29th of Bhadra, is in the news due to its star cast. The blockbuster movie ‘Kabaddi 4’ and ‘Jari’ duo Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar are in lead roles in the film, which also stars Samragyee RL Shah and Karma Shakya. Since it is directed by Dipendra Lama, who has given successful films like ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai and Dui Nambari’, the expectations for the film are also high.
Because of the faith in the team, the overseas rights of the film started to be sold right from the filming stage. Meanwhile, Nepal 11 entertainment has taken the US and Canada rights of the film. Patrick Subedi of Nepal 11 entertainment said that the film will be screened in more than 50 cities in 22 states of America and Canada. He claims that more than 400 shows have been completed in America alone.
Written by director Lama himself, the film also stars Shishir Wangdel, Buddhi Tamang, Rabindra Jha, Bishal Pahadi, Ankit Khadka, Pushkar Gurung, Raj Thapa, Kamalmani Nepal, Ghanubhai Joshi, Nima Pandey and others. Jai Shrestha is the producer in the film prepared by Himal Sharma. Banish Shah edited the film, which has cinematography by Alok Shukla.
Due to the pairing of Dayahang and Miruna, the demand for ‘Nago Gaou’ abroad seems to be increasing. If this is the case, the film will be able to secure investment before the screening. Dayahang plays the role of a leader in the film, which is based on the story of the impact of politics on society. Director Lama has claimed that the social story is presented in a very strong way in the film.
