The film ‘Hashtag Maya’ has been celebrated at the Karyavinayak Temple in Bungmati, Lalitpur. Directed by Rajeev Gurung, the film will feature Namrata Shrestha, Sarook Tamrakar, Roydeep Shrestha, Nikita Acharya, Kenipa Singh, Sudam CK and others. Muhurat was done on Friday morning in the presence of all the artists.
The production team has said that the shooting will start from next week. Director Gurung said that the shooting of the film will start from Kathmandu and will end in Dharan via Pokhara, Bardia. We are starting the shooting after fixing a schedule of 45 days. A love story will also be seen in the film, which will be produced in the thriller genre, said director Gurung.
Produced by Sharmila Thapa, the plot of the film is focused on love. Actress Shrestha is in the top role. In the film, she is playing the role of a yoga instructor. She also took a workshop for this. Seeing the hard work and dedication of the production team, I spent time on character building. I am excited about the film. We are trying to do something new,’ said Namrata.
The film will have writing by director Gurung and Ashutosh Shrestha, cinematography by Ujwal Joshi, art direction by Relija Shrestha, makeup by Kriti Joshi. Anup Poudel will be the executive producer, Arjun Neupane will be the casting director, Arun Regmi and Dilip Pant will be the production managers.
