The film “Dayarani,” directed by Maotse Gurung, which is about to be screened on Magh 26, premiered in Talnagari Pokhara, which was held at Pokhara’s Midtown Cinemas on Sunday.
Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City Dhan Raj Acharya, former Finance Minister of Gandaki Province Kiran Gurung, Chairman of Madi Rural Municipality Devi Jung Gurung, Poet Ramesh Shrestha, Artist Prakash Ghimire, Singer and Musician Rajan Raj Siwakoti, Writer and Director Maotse Gurung, Actress Diya Pun and others were present to watch the film at the premiere show.
Everyone praised the film, including the ward chairman and the mayor of Pokhara. The story of the film, the direction and the acting of the actors were praised for being strong. The film received a good response at the premiere show.
Gurung, the director of the film, said that directing is more difficult than acting as an actor. Dayahang Rai, Diya Pun, Bijay Baral, Pramish Gurung, Puskar Gurung, Tika Ram Ghale, Shrisha Kunwar, Nayan Gurung, Surya Sunwar, Rajendra Thapa, Sita Devi Gurung, Krishti Gurung and others are acting in the film.
Produced under the banner of Bansuri Films and Maotse Films, the film features cinematography by Shailendra Dhoj Karki. Produced in collaboration with Mohan Gurung, Kiran Gurung, Kendra Limbu and New IT Ventures, the film is executive produced by Rambabu Gurung and Apil Bist.
