Nepal’s Teriya Phounja Magar, who won the title of two famous Indian reality shows ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa-9’ and ‘DID Little Master-3’, has now started her acting career. After rejecting the offer of acting in some Nepali films, she acted in a special role in a serial called ‘Swaraj’, which is a presentation of India’s state television Doordarshan.
On Sunday, Teriya shared a promo of the serial that will be aired today on her Instagram, in which she can be seen in a warrior avatar. Teriya has informed that she is playing the role of Rani Gaidinlyu in the serial. Rani Gaidinluu is the one who rebelled against the British rule for India’s independence.
Sharing the promo, Teriya wrote, ‘Playing such a heroic character was a remarkable moment for me. I got to learn a lot and had a good time on the shoot.’ She has been given enough space in the promo. She has also shared some pictures on Instagram during the shooting of the serial, in which she is seen in a rongmei dress carrying an arrow.
She is very excited about the serial. The serial is based on the story of the British rule in India. Teriya, who is interested in acting as well as dancing, has been living in India for a long time and is advancing her career. Her home in Nepal is Rupandehi.
