Everywhere in the world, including Nepal, “Mahajatra” will be released.

The new Nepali film ‘Mahajatra’ will be simultaneously screened all over the world, including Nepal, on March 22, which is Chaitra 9. MSM Entertainment has acquired the rights to perform and distribute “Mahajatra,” the third installment of the Shatkon Arts-produced “Jatra” series, outside of Nepal and India.

According to the company, Namlo Events and Koseli Colorado in the United States and Canada, Concept Vision and Supreme Film Production and Distribution in the Middle East, Nepali Movie Time Denmark in Europe,  Aanbhi Entertainment Japan in Japan, Bishal Aawaj Multimedia Pvt Ltd in Korea, Lakhey Events in New Zealand, and in Australia, MSM Entertainment and Rote Ping are distributing and screening the film.

Distributor Thapa says that the popularity and credibility of the previous series are the reasons why viewers in foreign countries like Nepal are looking forward to “Mahajatra.” As a result, films with Nepali originality and themes like “Pujar Sarki,” “Ghar Jwai,” and “Reemai” are part of MSM Entertainment’s upcoming lineup.

The popularity of the “Jatra” series and the audience’s expectations led to the preparation of “Mahajatra,” according to actor and executive producer Rabindra Singh Baniya. Executive producer Baniya stated, “We have been motivated to continue the series by the comments we received from the viewers as well as the critics.”

The writer and director of the film, Pradeep Bhattarai, said that the film presents the opportunity to manage money in an emergency and the problems it causes in an interesting manner. Hari Bansha Acharya, Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rabindra Jha, Barsha Raut, Arjun Jung Shahi, Prakash Ghimire, Rajaram Paudel, Prabin Khatiwada, Divya Dev, Suman Karki, Shishir Bangdel, Gaumaya Gurung, Arvin Khadka and others will be acting in the film. Yagyaswar Paudel and Max Dipesh Khatri produced the film.
