“Mayor,” a biographical film about Bharat Kumar Thapa, the mayor of Sarlahi’s Bagmati Municipality, will feature Barsha Raut and actor Khagendra Lamichhane in a first-time acting collaboration.
Director Dipendra K. Khanal will direct the film ‘Mayor’, in which actor Khagendra Lamichhane plays the role of the main character of ‘Mayor’, which is based on political life.
Actress Barsha Raut has been signed on to play the female lead in this film. Director Khanal and actress Raut signed a contract for the film on behalf of the production company on Wednesday. Barsha will play two different characters in the film, so it is likely that she will play the mayor’s wife and lover. Arpan Thapa has also been signed on to work on this film.
