The Nepali documentary ‘Dhorpatan’ is going to be screened in the movie hall. This documentary, known as ‘No Winter Holidays’ at film festivals in Europe and Asia, will be screened at CDC Cinemas every evening starting Poush 27th at 5 p.m.
A documentary that debuted in Korea this year, “Dhorpatan,” was presented at the Dharamshala International Film Festival held in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India, prior to Tihar. The film received its world premiere at the Sheffield Duckfest in the UK.
The jury selected it as the winner in the “Nativa” category at the first Alternativeva Film Awards, which were recently held in Kazakhstan, on the grounds that it “carried cultural significance.”
