The new Nepali film ‘Rangeli’, which is currently being shot, is going to have its grand premiere in Australia. Jitendra Khatiwada, the executive producer of the film, has announced that this film, which will be released in Nepal on Falgun 25, the day of Mahashivratri, will premiere in Australia in the final week of Magh.
It is said that Australian distribution company Hot Beats Events will hold the premiere and regular screenings for this film. The premiere of the film will be held among prominent Nepalese, diplomatic personalities, media, and film workers. It is said that this film will premiere in America before the public screening.
The production side of “Rangeli” has said that the company has purchased the Australian distribution rights by providing the best value. Khatiwada said that for the general audience, it will be released simultaneously on the release date of Nepal in various countries of the world where Nepalis live, including Australia.
Written and directed by Arjun Subedi, ‘Rangeli’ features Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Arpan Thapa, Prabin Khatiwada, Ramesh Budhathoki, and others in leading roles. Currently, the film is being shot in Morang’s Rangeli, Kursia, Katahari, Biratnagar, and Birtamod areas.
One song of Sushant Gautam’s music for this film will be shot live in Europe’s world-renowned ‘Budhapest Orchestra’. This is the first time that a Nepali film is going to film a song in this way. Harak Saud’s lyrics are written in the song, while Sanup Poudel and Annu Chaudhary’s vocals will be there. Other songs in the film will have music by Sushant Gautam and Hercules Basnet.
The executive producers of the film are Jeetendra Khatiwada and Anoj Jung Thapa. The producers are Sansar Chaulagain and Ramesh Bhattarai Basistha, while Yuwak Karki and Shiva Thapaliya are the co-producers. Bibek Khadka (Yolo) is the associate producer. Sushan Prajapati shot this film.
