Television reality show ‘Dohori Icon’ is going to be organized. In a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday, it was informed that the digital and online auditions will start after a few weeks. It is said that the show is going to be held with the aim of preserving and promoting original folk songs.
Organizer AJ Entertainment informed that the broadcast of the show will start after a few months. Komal Oli, Pashupati Sharma and Kulendra Bishwokarma will be the judges in this show. PN Sapkota and Shobha Tripathi will be the hosts.
According to the organizers, a prize of 25 lakh rupees and a world tour will also be arranged for the first place in the competition. Folk singer Komal Oli, social activist Ramesh Babu Shrestha, singer Pashupati Sharma, Kulendra Bishwokarma, Krishna Reule, Deepak Khadka and others were present at the press conference chaired by Ajay Pokharel. The jury said that originality and new talent will be given special emphasis in ‘Dohori Icon’.
