Questions have been raised about the suicide case of actor Saruk Tamrakar, who was found dead in his private residence last Thursday. A female character’s name is repeatedly coming up on social media, while celebrities are demanding justice for Saruk. On Tuesday, actress Srishti Shrestha posted a picture of Saruk on Instagram and wrote that ‘Truth and justice prevail’.
Similarly, writing a note on Insta Story on Thursday, actress Malina Joshi demanded a proper investigation into Saruk’s suicide case. She has written more than half a dozen questions, “What could have happened to him?” Why was he forced to take this decision? Who was with him in his last days? What happened in the last conversation? Who was his last call?’
Why did Saruk break his relationship with his close female friends? Was he mistreated? Was he abused? Was he insulted? She asked. She has mentioned that everyone should be able to know what is being demanded for a proper investigation. Her post was also shared by actress Swastima Khadka.
It is known that the police have sent Saruk’s mobile forensic lab to find out the reason for his suicide. The pressure on the police has increased as celebrities started demanding a proper investigation one after the other. Last Friday, Saruk was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat. Saruk, who returned home after filming the film ‘Hashtag Maya’, committed suicide that evening.
