Sagar Lamsal, who came into limelight with the character of ‘Bale’ in the famous comedy teleserials ‘Bhadragol’ and ‘Sakkigoni’, is now preparing for his own film production. He has been writing the script of the film himself for some time. Lamsal is planning to start shooting for the film next year. He has also hired a director. However, he did not want to reveal his name.
He also informed that he will play the lead role in the film which will be made in comedy, action and love story. The actress for the yet-to-be-titled film has not been decided. ‘Bale’ has worked in some films before. He got a break in the film from ‘Loafer’ and also acted in the film ‘Lajja Ra Hairan’. However, for 5 years, he has not been doing the film that he has been offered.
Regarding the reason for rejecting the film offer, he said, ‘There were some film offers. But, first I did not work because I would do my own group (Sakkigoni) and my own home production film. ‘Sakkigoni’ group will produce a film this year and I will produce my own film next year. After that, if the script, characters and the team are good, I will continue to do foreign banner films.’
Before the Corona epidemic, the ‘Sakkigoni’ group had prepared to make a film called ‘Funfuni’. Nischal Basnet was finalized for director and Bipin Karki for actor. But later Nischal withdrew from the film. Bipin is still under contract. The name ‘Funfuni’ has escaped from the ‘Sakkigoni’ group. A producer has already registered this name with the Film Development Board.
