The Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality has announced that it will ban the showing of Indian films until the dialogue “Janki Bharat ki chori” included in the Indian film “Adipurush” is revealed. Mayor Dhanraj Acharya made this decision while sending a letter to the film halls of Pokhara. A letter has been sent to the local Shrikrishna and Vindhyavasini Hall, Cineplex and Midtown Hall.
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City also banned the screening of Indian films from Monday due to the Adipurush dispute.
