Actor Dayahang Rai will be busy with the film for the next one year. But he is signing one film after another. His last signed film is ‘Karsang’. Yam Sherpa, who has directed a few short films, is starting his feature directorial journey with this film.
The film with Dayahang in the lead role will be directed by Purushottam Pradhan of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ fame. Although the date of the shooting has not been confirmed, most of the shooting will take place in Bahrbise and Bhotekoshi in Sindhupalchok.
The other actors of the film are going to be selected through auditions. It is said that this film, which is being made on a social theme, will be produced under the banner of Yarsa Films. Director Sherpa is an eighth batch director student of Kantipur Film Academy. The academy will also cooperate in the production. Academy CEO Prakash Puri said that the film ‘Karsang’ will be based on Sherpa traditions and stories.
