Kathmandu- Lately, many incidents of film piracy have come out on social media during screenings. Similarly, its producer Maniram Pokharel filed a complaint with the police saying that the film ‘Jari’, which was being shown, was also piracy. He filed a complaint against 32 accounts of Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram involved in piracy at the Cyber Bureau of the Police on Sunday.
It is mentioned in the complaint that due to the financial loss to the producer by recording the time of the film screening in the hall and uploading the film scenes from that account. In the complaint, it is also demanded to investigate the said piracy and give compensation. Scenes from the movie ‘Jari’ can now be seen on social media. Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar are playing the lead roles in this film which was released last Friday.
