Kathmandu- The competition of Miss Nepal-2023 has officially started today (Thursday). This year’s Miss Nepal competition has started with the start of voting for the ‘Miss Popular Choice’ category. According to The Hidden Treasure, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite among 24 contestants.
One person who gets the most votes will get a chance to enter the final 11 directly. Pramod Kansakar, director of Hidden Treasure, said that viewers can vote through the Khalti app. In order to get more votes, the contestants are campaigning from social media to public forums and are appealing for votes.
Since it is possible to directly enter the finals, there is a competition between beauties to win in this category. The contestants are under pressure to win the Miss Popular Choice category even though there is a short way to reach the finals.
The audience will be able to vote in this category till 5 pm on the day of the grand finale, 13th Jestha. “Now we are preparing for the competition of other categories as well,” said director Kansakar. For the first time, the competition of two categories of Miss Nepal is being held in Pokhara this time.
This year’s Miss Nepal according to the contestant numbers are respectively: Raina Majgaiya, Samarika Karki, Pragya Bajracharya, Kabina Shrestha, Aayusha Maharjan, Kirti Bartaula, Sudha Devkota, Prasiddy Shah, Srishti Hada, Sadikchya Thapa, Barsha Gautam, Unnati Gurung, Aayushma Baral, Rajani Mishra, Holiska Koirala, Swinja Sunam, Srichchha Pradhan, Grishma Adhikari, Apeksha Khatiwada, Kirtika Basnet, Aishworya Shrestha, Tshering Dolma Pakhrin, Suhani Khadka Chhetri and Pritika Khadka are in the competition.
