The trailer of the film ‘Jari’ directed by Upendra Subba, which is going to be released on the occasion of New Year, has aroused a certain curiosity among the audience. Due to the powerful trailer, the popularity of the song ‘Chari Basyo’ and the strong star cast, the film has become a huge hit not only in Nepal but also abroad.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that ‘Jari’ will be screened in Australia, where Nepali films have made a good impression. Roshan Bhattarai’s group has made arrangements to screen the film in Australia. Bhattarai informed that the film will be screened on April 16 and 17 at the Reading Cinema Hall in Sydney and on April 18, 21 and 23 in Canberra, the capital of Australia.
Similarly, from the first week of Baisakh, preparations are being made to screen the film in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Tasmania. The preparations for the Sydney show of the film were done by S People Education and Visa Services and Nepoz Education Visa Services. Distributor Bhattarai expressed his belief that there will be good business as the audience is very curious about ‘Jari’ in Australia.
The film features Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, Roydeep Shrestha, Kamal Mani Nepal, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Rekha Limbu etc. The film has the cinematography by Sailendra D Karki and the editing by Nimesh Shrestha. The film is produced by ‘Kabaddi’ fame director Rambabu Gurung and written by director Upendra Subba himself. The film was made based on the current practice.
