Kathmandu- Folk Dohori song reality show ‘Dohori Idol’ is going to be aired. Shyam Dhital, director of DAR Movies, informed that the show is being produced in an international format and will soon be broadcast on Nepal Network Television. He said that he is going to organize a show for the development and expansion of folk rhymes.
Purushottam Neupane, Raju Pariyar, Ghamesh Dulal and Rita Thapa are among the judges of the show where 42 famous artists of Nepal will compete. Amrit Khati, the coordinator of the program, informed that for the first time in Nepal, a double reality show of league level is going to be held. E-service has been added as a voting part of the show.
The winner of the ‘Dohori Idol’ will win 15 Lakhs in cash and a car, while the second runner-up will receive 7 Lakhs in cash and the third runner-up will receive 5 Lakhs in cash. Dhital informed that Dohri Idol has also been registered by DAR Movies in the international format.
