KATHMANDU, March 29: In a recent Cabinet reshuffle, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayankaji Shrestha is set to be appointed Nepal’s new Home Minister.
This decision comes after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal handed over responsibility for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to the CPN (Unified Socialist).
Shrestha is no stranger to the position, having served as Home Secretary in the past. His experience in his role is expected to prove invaluable to the Nepalese government as she faces a number of challenges in the coming months.
