The release date of the film ‘Tulki’, which is based on polygamy, has been changed. As the screening date was announced on 3rd of Chaitra, now the film will be screened from 12th of Jestha after 2 months. This film won two awards in the Nepal Rural Film Festival (Neruf) last year as the best feature film and ‘screenplay’.
The film produced under the banner of ‘The Palm Group’ was shot in Dolpa, a Himalayan district. Directed by Devjung Thapa, the film has Sushil Adhikari and Namraj Ghimire cinematography. Produced by Shekhar Lama, the film is produced by RP Karmacharya and Ujeli Lama. The story of the film is written by Laxman Sunar, while the screenplay is written by producer Shekhar Lama himself.
Edited by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’, Background music by Sanjiv Subba, Choreography by Ligesh Bhattarai and Ramesh Budhathoki, the film features Shishir Wangdel, Swastima Karki, Sophia Limbu, Narendra Tamang, Shekhar Lama, Saujan Subba, Bhaktasinh Kath Ratna, Som Lama, and Prasad Neupane. This film will be distributed by actress Suhana Thapa’s Trinetram Distribution Company.
