From Friday (today), two big films ‘Chadke 2’ and ‘Chhakka Panja 4’ have entered the arena together for screening. Probably this is the ‘heavyweight’ clash of the last 5/7 years. Because, in ‘Chhadke 2’ Anmol KC, who is considered as a hit machine, has the lead role, while ‘Chakka Panja 4’ is a brand film in itself. These two films have come together to cover the Holi holiday and Women’s Day holiday for two days.
It is clear that ‘Chadka Panja 4’ is higher than ‘Chadke 2’ in business. Because, its previous three series earned ‘record break’ in the domestic market. The name of this film itself draws the audience to the hall. However, this time, like the previous series, the audience did not show much enthusiasm. The possibility of a bumper opening seems to be low as the bookings are not pleasant even for high shows in multiplexes.
However, the booking of ‘Chadke 2’ is also not good. Looking at the booking of the film, which occupies 40 percent of the shows in most multiplexes, it seems that it will be the weakest opening film of Anmol’s career. Due to the lack of promotion and the lack of impressive content other than the trailer, the audience did not show interest in the film. In this case, both the films will need a strong ‘word of mouth’ to attract the audience.
Nigam Shrestha wrote and directed ‘Chadke 2’, which was made in the gangster genre. Apart from Anmol, Rowin Tamang, Kamal Mani Nepal, Dev Kumar Shrestha, Srijan Subba, Devu Shrestha, Resha Ale Magar, Ian Scott Clement, Santosh Mizar, Afran Ali, Nigam Shrestha, Chiranjeevi Adhikari, Kumar Ghalan are also acting in the film. Prashant Giri and Dev Kumar Shrestha are the producers of the film.
Similarly, ‘Chakka Panja 4’ directed by Hemraj VC stars Deepak Raj Giri, Deepashree Niraula, Kedar Prasad Ghimire, Neer Shah, Nirmal Sharma, Benisha Hamal, Malina Joshi, Buddhi Tamang, Raj Acharya, Sushma Niraula, Vedan Rai, Malina Joshi, Savin Bastola, Ramesh Budhathoki and others are acting. Cinematography by Narendra Mainali, the film has Deepak Raj’s own story, screenplay and dialogues.
