23-year-old Chowdhury was arrested after the team of the district police office on night patrol at Shani Mandirner saw him driving a keyless scooter on the road of Triyuga municipality 12 DMgate-Khaijanpur section.
According to the district police office, he was arrested after seeing the keyless scooter driving on the road in the middle of the night.
According to DSP Rakesh Podar, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Chaudhary, who was arrested, has admitted to stealing the scooter belonging to Sushmita Rai of Triyuga 12. DSP Podar said that after the theft was proved, the court gave him a 7-day deadline on Thursday and started further investigation into the theft case.
