5 January, Chitwan. District Police Office Chitwan has arrested a security guard of Bharatpur Hospital on the charge of stealing a bracelet worn by a young man who died in a car accident.
According to the District Police Office Chitwan, 27-year-old Krishna Rai of Aiselukhark-5, Khotang, a hospital security guard, was arrested.
On January 17, Bharatpur Metropolitan City under Narayangadh Muglin road section, Ward no. Police allege that Rai stole the bracelet worn by the youth who died in an accident in 29 Kerawari.
The police said that when the body of the deceased was kept in the room near the emergency room, Rai stole the bracelet he was wearing.
The police said that while investigating his activities, it was found that he had stolen. After the family of the deceased informed the police about the missing bracelet and money, the police conducted an investigation, said Vijayraj Pandit, DSP spokesperson of the District Police Office.
DSP Pandit informed that the district court Chitwan has extended the deadline against the arrested Rai and further investigation is proceeding.
