President in Parliament to address the Federal House

KATHMANDU, February 10: President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived at Parliament House in New Baneshwar to address the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.
According to the schedule in which the President will address the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament at 3 pm, President Bhandari arrived at the Parliament House, Baneshwar.
There is an agenda that the President will address both houses in the House of Representatives and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will have separate tables for the President’s speech in the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.
Dashrath Dhamala, co-spokesperson of the Parliament Secretariat, has reported that the motion of thanks will be passed after the speaker’s speech.
Article 95 of the Constitution provides for the President to address a meeting of either Chamber of the Federal Parliament or a joint meeting of both Chambers.
