Leader Ghanshyam Bhusal has joined CPN United Socialist Party. Spokesperson Jaganath Khatiwada said that Bhusal joined the Samajwadi during a program on Friday.
Earlier, Bhusal had sent a proposal to Samajwadi for the reorganization, transformation and integration of the Nepali Communist Movement.
While sending a reply to the same proposal, on Thursday Samajwadi asked leader Bhusal to join the party soon.
Saying that the policies, ideas, principles and views embraced by the party are in line with Bhusal’s proposal, Mileka asked him to join the party soon.
CPN-UML’s former deputy general secretary Bhusal left the party after not getting a ticket in the November elections. Bhusal, who ran as an independent candidate for the member of the House of Representatives in Rupandehi-1, was defeated.
