TIA server down: All flights affected

KATHMANDU, 20 February: The Immigration Department’s administrative software server at Tribhuwan International Airport is down.

TIA spokesman Teknath Sitaula informed Ratopati that international flights were affected due to a software problem at the airport’s immigration department at around 1pm Monday.

Sitaula informed Ratopati that the technical teams are actively working to resolve the issue and they expect the issue to be resolved very soon.

He reported that since the Departures and Aliens of the Migration department have been stopped, even the flights have been affected. And as the immigration software also belongs to Singha Darbar, if there is a problem there, the Immigration department also deals with the problem, she added.

There was a problem on January 29 last month, when all the government sites were down, which caused people to panic.
