Action will be taken against the crusher industry operating against the norms

It has been decided to carry out on-site monitoring of such crusher industries, indicating that the crusher industry established in various places has also affected the environment and development infrastructure.

The Kaski District Monitoring Committee of river and mining materials in Kaski district has decided to conduct on-site monitoring of crushers operating in different places of Kaski. Liladhar Paudel, head of district coordination committee Kaski, who is also the coordinator of the monitoring committee, informed the meeting of the monitoring committee held on Sunday.

Some crusher industries operating in Kaski district had complained to the committee that they had adverse effects on the environment and development infrastructure. It has also been mentioned that the monitoring committee will monitor the legality and operation status of such industries keeping in mind the environmental impact after the increase of public complaints.

Coordinator Poudel informed that after the monitoring, the details of such industries will be prepared and they will be brought under the legal framework if they are found to be operating against the law and standards. He said that action will be taken according to the law if it is found to affect the environment and development infrastructure. He said that anyone who works against public interest and law should come under the law, he said that now the committee will be active so that the rule of law will be felt.

The committee, which is the chief coordinator of the district coordination committee, includes the heads of the municipalities of the district, the chief district officer, the head of the domestic office of the district police office Kaski, the head of the division forest office Kaski, the head of armed police force Kaski, the head of the National Investigation Pokhara office, the head of the treasury and accounting control office Kaski, There is a provision that the head of the Infrastructure Development Office Kaski, the head of the Internal Revenue Office Kaski and the District Coordinating Officer will be members.

According to coordinator Paudel, there are more cross industries within the metropolitan area and Machhapuchchhe village of Kaski. He alleged that although he had corresponded with the Metropolitan Municipality to provide the registration data of the crusher industry since two months ago, the Metropolitan Municipality did not provide it.

“According to the data received from the police and domestic industries office, it has been found that there are only 15 cross industries,” he said, “how many others are not sure.” There is no data on those operating without registration.’ Paudel, the coordinator, is concerned that there are many crusher industries operating illegally. He said that there is a public complaint that some crusher industries have been established on the banks of rivers and streams and have excavated rivers and streams.
