Priyanka Rani Joshi of Nepal has placed among the top 10 in the 71st Miss World “Beauty with Purpose” category, which was held in India. Nepal was announced as a semi-finalist in this competition on Monday, indicating that it is a contender.
In addition to Nepal, the top 10 also includes Botswana, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, and Ukraine. Prior to this, Priyanka was chosen as one of the top 25 in the “Head to Head Challenge” division.
The finale is being held in Mumbai on Saturday. All category winners will be revealed during that time. Priyanka, Miss Nepal World 2022 for the ‘Beauty with Purpose’ category, took the initiative to deliver the central electricity transmission line to Upper Dang Gadi in the remote Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality of Chitwan. Apart from this, she also took care of the maintenance of local schools and the development of local entrepreneurship.
