Actor Dhiraj Magar and actress Upasana Singh Thakuri’s first collaboration film, ‘Khusma’, has started shooting for the first phase in Manang on Magh 10th. Since the snow scenes are an important part of the film, the production team went to Manang for filming at the beginning. After Manang, the rest of the film will be shot in East Rukum.
The film, directed by Ashok Thapa Magar, stars Astitta Bhattachan, Khadka Bahadur Pun, and Arun Magar in major roles. Based on a love story during the war, the film was produced by Betane Magar, Chandra Bhattachan, Mohan Rai and Sushmita Budhathoki. Dhiraj said that there is a different kind of love story in the film. He is presenting himself as a villager.
The film, which is being produced under the banner of M Media Productions, has music by SD Yogi, Surendra Rana and Ram Aviral Bista, while Deepak Bajracharya is the cinematographer. Govind Shahi’s company, Kafia Films, will distribute the film across the country.
