An exclusive screening of the kid-psychology-focused short film “Keyboard”

An exclusive screening of Acharya Gopal’s short film “Keyboard,” which explores child psychology, took place on Friday.

The film was screened at the Children’s Book Exhibition 2080 at Pragya Prasthan, presented by Creative Center Nepal. In the film, the effect of parents’ divorce on children’s psychology is presented in a creative manner. The writer of the film, Bijaya Raj Acharya, said that the effect of divorce between parents on children has been revealed through children’s stories.

Jian, the main character of the film, is interested in music. He participates in the school singing competition. He likes to play the keyboard and is always learning new songs, but the arguments between his parents at home bother him. Parents’ discord begins to have a negative effect on the brain of Jian, who has an extraordinary talent for music. After that, how will his musical life progress? Director Acharya Gopal has presented the story in the film.

Alok Chaureli, Krishna Bhakta Maharjan and Rashmi Bhatta are in the lead roles in the film. The film has cinematography by Sujay Gautam, editing by Diwas Dhital, music by Tekendra Nepali, sound design by Bharat Kandel, casting by Bhishma Joshi, co-direction by Ashuka Aryal, location sound by Dhiraj Adhikari, and production management by Saroj Khadka.

This film, which was co-produced by Sandesh Acharya and Kaushal Kumar Bhattarai, will now be screened at international film festivals and educational institutions, according to director Acharya.
