The trailer for the new action-oriented Nepali film ‘Chitra’, which will be screened on Poush 27, has been released. In the 2-minute, 48-second-long trailer, action and love are woven into the background of a family story. Although the main conflict of the film is not clearly revealed in the trailer, it can be understood that the visual language of the film is built around the story of a father-daughter relationship.
Santosh Adhikari, who is also the co-producer of the film “Aama,” made his acting debut with Chitra and features a cast that includes Arpan Thapa, Pramod Agrahari, Menuka Pradhan, Prakash Ghimire, Anjana Barailli, Ayushi Dhakal, Binod Paudel, Kapil Sharma, Kumar Gurung, Ujjwal Dhakal, Dipesh Gajurel, and others.
The film features a story by Ajay Adhikari, a screenplay by Manish Gautam, music by Rajan Raj Siwakoti, action direction by Samrat Basnet, cinematography by Mahesh Paudel, background music by Shailesh Shrestha, editing by Banish Shah and Sandesh Shah, and the production values of Aashish Thapa Magar and Santosh Adhikari himself as executive producers. Avinash Roka Magar has obtained the film’s Australian screening rights.
