Tamrakar, who had kidney disease, passed away on Saturday at 3:20 p.m. in Thapathali’s Norvic Hospital. Age-wise, he was 74. He had spent the previous month receiving care in the hospital’s ICU. He experienced bereavement-related depression following the death of his son, actor Saruk Tamrakar, on Asadh 21.
Meanwhile, actress Namrata Shrestha paid tribute to actor Sanu Tamrakar and his son, Saruk Tamrakar, on social media. Saruk died a month and a half ago, and his father, Sanu, died on Saturday.
After the death of Saruk, Namrata has been dragged into controversy. It was revealed that she was in a relationship with Saruk, and the two of them argued just before Saruk’s death. Namrata made no public remarks following Saruk’s passing. On Sunday morning, though, Namrata paid respect by sharing a photo of both father and son on social media. She humbly prayed for the family as a whole to have the fortitude to endure.
