Kathmandu: The film ‘Jay Ho’, which is preparing to be released both internationally and in Nepal on the upcoming Bhadra 8th, i.e., August 25th, won’t have a poster displayed in Kathmandu. Producer Shovit Basnet said that he decided not to promote the film to support the campaign to make Kathmandu beautiful. Moreover, Basnet will ask that no posters for his own or other films be shown. All residents must maintain Kathmandu’s cleanliness, according to Basnet.
The film, which is directed by Tek Paurakhi Rai, stars Maotse Gurung, Nisha Adhikari, Arpan Thapa, Sumin Gurung, Sushant Shrestha, Keki Adhikari, and Salon Basnet. Hosted by Shovit Basnet, the film has action direction by Samrat Basnet, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane, editing by Banish Shah, VFX by Samir Miyan, and a trailer by Sandesh Shah.
The film has a story written by Suresh Neupane, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, music by Shambhujit Baskota and Sagar Ale Magar. The film is produced by Raj K. Adhikari and Suraj Lwagan Sarkar. Produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, the production designer is Kewal Man Singh Basnet, and the production head is Sameer Khan.
