400,000 people gathered in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, on Sunday to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the world-famous band BTS. Gathering in Seoul to commemorate BTS, they sang and danced to their favorite band’s songs.
The band is currently on a temporary hiatus. All members of BAND are in compulsory military service according to the rules of the country. But this break could not stop the celebration of fans called ‘Army’ who are considered reliable and committed to them. The millions of fans who attended the ‘BTS 10th Anniversary Festival’ held in Seoul’s Han River Park displayed BTS history, stage costumes and statues on the wall. Purple autographs by band members were also on display.
Fans danced under shady trees while bonding with their favorite band members as the hit song played in the background. “Through this ceremony, I think we can get a feel for how we build our relationship with BTS and the Army,” said Audrey Lintner, a 28-year-old master’s degree student from Sri Lanka.
RM, the leader of BTS, read the message sent by the band’s singers Jungkook and V. Time passed very quickly. Everything has changed and I have changed a lot. I don’t know what I’m going to do on the 15th and 20th anniversaries, but I won’t have my love for you,” RM told fans.
